Design Services Agreement

The designer and client must sign and date the Design Service Agreement prior to the start of work. This does not include preliminary sketches, which are provided by the designer as proof of concept.

Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of one-third (1/3) the total project price is required before work commences. A refund exception may only be considered if I am unable to complete the project within the agreed-upon scope. Any remaining balance for your project is due prior to delivery. Deposits will be deducted from the balance of the project at its completion.

Revisions

Up to 3 rounds of major revisions may be requested with the initial project scope. These include reworked designs, modification of video effects, revisions of any approved content, and more. Additional revisions will incur a fee that will be determined based on the workload.

Rush Fee

25% for a 5-day turnaround on basic design projects. Revisions considered based on time and workload. Rush Fee will be dropped if the project is not delivered with the 5-day time frame.

Illustration Usage

Commissioned illustrations can be posted on art forums and other websites so long as I am credited as the artist. Unless otherwise agreed upon, illustrations cannot be used by the client in the sale of their own merchandise.

Designer’s Right to Share

I reserve the right post any works of my choosing on this website and on social media for marketing purposes. This excludes commissioned illustrations, which will not be shared without express permission from my client.

Delivery Methods

When possible, print projects will be delivered to clients by designer. In all other cases, print projects will either be shipped by designer to the client (for additional cost), or left at the print provider’s location for client to pick up.

Project and source files will be sent via a Google Drive link in PDF, PNG, JPG, MP4 or other applicable format. Alternate delivery methods within designer’s capabilities can be provided as necessary.

Right to Refuse and Cancelation

As the designer, I reserve the right to refuse a project request from anyone as I see fit. I also reserve the right to cancel any project that has shifted beyond the agreed-upon scope.

Should the client and designer fail to come to a consensus on the direction of a project, both parties may opt to terminate an active agreement. In the event of a termination, the designer will take possession of or delete all produced work, and retain half of the deposit for work provided.
